GIFT CARDS

This clause applies to purchases of Goods made on all MARAIS Sale Platforms and in store.

You may use gift vouchers as payment for certain Goods on all MARAIS Sale Platforms. Gift vouchers are available to purchase on marais.com.au and in store. You are responsible for the use and safety of gift vouchers you purchase, and you should treat them like cash. We assume no liability for the loss, theft or illegibility of gift vouchers, including situations where a voucher is used without permission or where your email is accessed or used without authorisation.

We monitor the issue and redemption of gift vouchers. If we suspect fraud or misuse, we may terminate your access to your account or require a different means of payment. We may also block gift cards if notified by law enforcement that they have been fraudulently obtained.

Gift vouchers are valid for 3 years from the date of issue. Any remaining balance after 3 years will be forfeited and will no longer be available for use.

To redeem a gift voucher, you must satisfy the following conditions. Gift vouchers may be purchased for use on the Website by you or other customers and can be redeemed at checkout or added to your account. Once issued, gift cards cannot be transferred. They may only be redeemed on a MARAIS Sale Platform in accordance with the specific terms listed on the voucher. Gift voucher purchases may be subject to security checks at our discretion. Gift vouchers are valid for 36 months from the purchase date, and any remaining unredeemed balance after this period will be forfeited. If you place an order below the voucher’s value, the remaining credit will be stored in your account for future use; however, this credit cannot be redeemed for cash. If the voucher balance is insufficient for your order, the outstanding amount must be paid by another accepted payment method. You may use multiple gift vouchers for a single order, and they may be used in conjunction with store credit if both are under the same name. Voucher credit does not accrue interest, cannot be refunded or redeemed for cash, and cannot be used to purchase additional gift vouchers.

STORE CREDITS

If we, at our discretion, provide store credit, it will be valid for 12 months from the date of issue. Any remaining balance after 12 months will be forfeited and no longer available for use.

Store credit does not earn interest, nor can it be redeemed or refunded for cash at any time. Store credit cannot be used to purchase gift cards. Both gift vouchers and store credit may be used on sale items.
