About the Role:

Ensure efficient daily operations by leading the team and monitoring staff performance, managing the day to day operations to meet sales targets, and provide staff supervision for Marais Men Store.

  • $70,000 plus Superannuation

Administrative Tasks

  • Analyse and provide store, employees (KPI) and product performance reports
  • Collaborate with Stock Controller to ensure accuracy of the stock level and count, transfers and reporting any discrepancy immediately
  • Provide proposals to operation improvements
  • Coordinate with Marketing team
  • Cash handling
  • Enforce all security systems protocol to secure merchandise
  • Assist with sourcing suppliers for any miscellaneous quotations

Store Management

  • Oversee daily operations – opening, closing and store maintenance
  • Daily briefing and de-briefing of sales targets
  • Enforce store operation policies
  • Manage floor staff allocation in accordance to operational requirements
  • Ensure a safe working environment in accordance to OH&S

Sales & Client Relationship Management

  • Perform and contribute to effective sales results
  • Clientele building and drive CRM retention rate across all Marais channels
  • Manage and organise customer requests in a timely manner
  • Assist with promotional events as directed
  • Respond to all client enquiries
  • Experience in conflict resolution with clients in a professional manner

Staff Management

  • Rostering
  • Enforce company policies and regulations
  • Orientate, coach and develop staff members and store leaders
  • On spot training to develop staff knowledge and skills
  • Enforce corrective actions to improve employee performance
  • Enforce corrective actions to maintain employee conduct

 

Key Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role
  • Luxury fashion retail experience advantageous
  • Demonstrated success in training & development of staff
  • Exemplary leadership
  • Clientele building skills and experience
  • Demonstrated success in meeting and exceeding financial targets / KPI's
  • Commercial awareness of latest luxury fashion trend
  • Strong organisational skills and time management
  • Effective communication and an eye for detail
  • Knowledge in commercial trading legislation
  • Ability to work independently as well as within a team
  • Must be available to work full-time, rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays
  • Must have full work rights in Australia
