The Heron Preston Story
Founded in 2016 by American artist, designer and DJ Heron Preston, the namesake label emerged from the cross-currents of New York street culture, music and contemporary art. Preston first drew attention with UNIFORM, a celebrated collaboration with the New York City Department of Sanitation that upcycled decommissioned workwear into ready-to-wear, before presenting his label on the Paris runway. A co-founder of Been Trill and a long-time creative collaborator within Virgil Abloh's circle, Preston built a brand defined by its safety-orange palette, the Cyrillic "style" wordmark and a sensibility that fuses streetwear, workwear and luxury.
